Mike and Ashley’s wedding at the Inn At Vint Hill was such a beautiful representation of their love for each other, their love for Jesus, and their servant hearted spirits. They spent the morning getting ready with their dear friends and family, and then shared notes just between the two of them before the ceremony began. Ashley walked down the aisle towards Mike, with a wooden cross adorned with flowers they had hand made together in the weeks beforehand. They washed each other’s feet symbolizing their willingness to serve the other, a common practice Jesus used to show his willingness to serve. Mike and Ashley have both chosen career paths that are used to serve others – Mike being a policeman, and Ashley finishing up nursing school.
Mike and Ashley were introduced into their reception, followed by their choreographed first dance! (SO cool and beautiful). Their friends toasted to their new marriage, and then enjoyed a Duck Donuts DONUT WALL for dessert.
It was such a joy celebrating these high school sweethearts’ new marriage with their families! Here are some favorites!
