This past year has been a beautiful time of learning and growth, and Abby Grace‘s A Practical Wedding Workshop definitely played a part in that!
During this one day workshop, Abby showed us how to approach each section of a wedding day, what equipment to use, how to talk to clients, how to use external lighting equipment… and the list could go on and on!
One of the biggest encouragements I got from this workshop was to put people over portfolio- a wedding day has a lot of tasks for any vendor, but ultimately it’s all about creating a fantastic experience for a couple on the most important day of their relationship up to that point – the day they become a family!
We got to shoot a french-inspired styled shoot coordinated by these fabulous vendors:
Kat with Dear Sweetheart Events – http://dearsweetheartevents.com/
Amanda Veronee (Florals) – http://amandaveronee.com/
Paisley and Jade Rentals (Furniture) – http://paisleyandjade.com/
Buttercream Bakeshop (Sweets) – http://www.buttercreamdc.com/
Katherine Bignon (Dress Design) – http://www.katherineelizabethbridal.com
Amy Weber (Calligraphy) – http://www.sincerelyamydesigns.com/
Alison Harper & Co. (Hair & Makeup) – http://www.alisonharperandcompany.com/
And of course, Abby! – http://abbygracephotography.com/
Enjoy some shots from the styled shoot! I’m so thankful Abby was giving us clear tips for posing and giving directions!
Here’s to a refreshed spirit for 2016 ready to embrace the wedding season!
