Somehow time has slipped by and Shadi and I are 12 days away from our wedding. It felt like just yesterday that he showed up in Georgetown while I was meeting Emmy, and pulled me down a flight of stairs to ask my to be his wife by the canal. We decided Georgetown would be an appropriate place to document this unique yet fleeting time in our relationship, a time between boyfriend and girlfriend then husband and wife. I don’t think there is an accurate way to describe being engaged, but for us it has felt like expectancy. Expectant for what’s to come, while trying to enjoy the present. We had such a beautiful night with Nikki (of Nikki Santerre Photography) and her husband back in July, and I am so excited to share some of our (many) favorites from that evening! Here’s to holding onto each moment, while waiting for forever.
And here is a sneak peak of our guestbook printed by Artifact Uprising!
