Keeping Up With Klaire | Top 5 Goals For 2016

2016 blog post

This January I’ve been more motivated to make specific goals for this year. I want to not just simply think about my goals, but write them down, and have them somewhere to read everyday. Thankfully, Abby from Abby Grace Photography made a sweet template for goal setting, that I used to help me construct these five! Five things that are really important to me and this business.

So as the new year begins, here are my top five goals for KDP:

  1. Be prepared for KDP to be full time by 12/31/2016 (Keep up with this goal with the hashtag #makeKDPfulltime2k16!)
    1. Book 15 weddings in 2016
    2. Shoot 10 Anniversary session in 2016
    3. Book 50% of the work I need for 2017 before 2016 ends
  2. Create consistent, efficient systems
    1. Have a printed out project checklist
    2. Have daily tasks mapped out for the days following a session
    3. Submit each blog to a creative blog site within the month of posting it
  3. Invest in community
    1. Go to one relationship builing conference
    2. Invest in a Tuesdays Together group within the Rising Tide Society
    3. Meet one new “creative” every month
  4. Shoot a session in Italy
    1. Post on the Rising Tide Society about possible travel times
    2. Post on UNITED Facebook group about travel times
    3. Go there myself if need be
  5. Make time for rest
    1. Spend 20 minutes a day reading
    2. Have one day a week with no productivity, creating an intention sabbath. ( I’m finding how much I need this).
    3. Have a free weekend every 7 weeks

So there you have it! I would love to be held accountable for these, so ask me about them throughout the year! Cheers to a new year of opportunity, growth, and love!
